Trip Information90% of the people fish 10% of the time and 10% fish 90% of of the time. Don't be part of the crowd that puts their equipment a way in the winter. There is still some excellent fishing to be had at this time of year, the upper/lower Sacramento River is open year around and offers you a good opportunity for some winter fishing. The Trinity is a good bet too for some winter steelhead. Also there are a number of lakes in the area that fish best in the winter. So, don't put the rod away just yet!
